Headline Inflation

The inflation rate or the year-on-year change on the prices of goods and services commonly purchased by people in the province of Sultan Kudarat increased to 5.0 percent in August 2023, from 2.9 percent in July 2023. The average inflation rate for all commodity items from January to August 2023 stood at 5.3 percent. In August 2022, inflation rate was higher at 5.2 percent.
