The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office (PSA RSSO) XII kick off its Step 2 Registration for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) through school-based registration in SOCCSKSARGEN Region on targeted for children aged 5-17 years old.

Step 2 Registration involves the gathering and capturing of registrants’ biometric information such as iris scan, complete finger prints, and front facing photograph.

As of 10 May 2023, registered individuals in SOCCSKSARGEN for step 2 since it started in 2021 already numbered 3,479,598. PhilIDs delivered by PhilPost reached 810,461 as of 31 March 2023. Total number of delivered printed ePhilID numbered 2,138,892 as of 10 May 2023.

The registration schedule for Marbel 4 Elementary School is on May 24-29, 2023.
