On May 4, 2023, a Provincial Rice Technical Working Group Meeting cum El Niño Mitigation Plan was conducted at Tuburan Building in Amas, Kidapawan City, under the supervision of the Office of the Governor and facilitated by the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAg). The purpose of the meeting was to prepare the province for the potential effects of El Niño and ensure an adequate supply of rice.
