Headline inflation in Sarangani increased to 5.5 percent in August 2023 from 4.4 percent in July 2023. This is higher than the regional and national level at 4.6 percent and 5.3 percent, respectively. Inflation rate in August 2022 was higher at 7.4 percent. Average inflation for the last eight months of the year stood at 6.7 percent.
