Presidential Proclamation No. 647 mandates the annual observance of the National Statistics Month (NSM) every October to highlight the importance and value of statistics to both the government and the private sector and the general public.

Now on its 32nd year, the theme for the NSM celebration is NSM@32: Revving up for Economic and Social Recovery Through Evidence-Based Policies”. This year’s thematic focus aims to enhance public’s awareness and remind policymakers of the importance of data in crafting programs and policies for rebuilding and resetting the country after the pandemic.
