The number of construction increases by 43.67 percent in the third quarter of 2017

The number of construction statistics for the third quarter of 2017 increased by 43.67 percent compared to those issued in the same period in 2016 based on the approved building permits. Residential constructions posted 14.41 percent increase from 118 to 135 projects while non-residential constructions recorded an increase of 45.74 percent from 94 to 137. Alteration/repairs also increased by 266.7 percent while 13 additions to existing structures were recorded this quarter.
