Registered death decreased by 9.18 percent

The reported deaths in SOCCSKSARGEN Region during the First Quarter of 2020 reached 5,196 or 9.18 percent lower compared to the same Quarter in 2019 (see table 1). The number of deaths in Cotabato Province reached 1,188 or a decreased of 35.82 percent. Followed by Sultan Kudarat recorded 822 deaths or about 9.67 percent decreased. It is noticeable that South Cotabato slightly decreased by 0.38 percent and whereas deaths records in Sarangani and Cotabato City increased by 11.59 percent and 320.75 percent compared to the same period in 2019, respectively (see Table 1).
