The PSA-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office facilitates the Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board (MCCB) in LGU-Lambayong on January 25, 2024 at Datu Kusay Hall, Municipal Hall, Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat. This is in preparation for the 2024 CBMS national rollout.

The convening was made possible through the enactment of Executive Order No. 07, Series of 2024 issued by the Municipal Government of Lambayong. This EO is an order reorganizing the Municipal Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Coordinating Board.

The Municipal Mayor, Hon. Ferdinand Agduma, designated Municipal Administrator Elena P. Serquiña to preside the meeting.

CSS Herlita G. Caraan discussed the overview of the Community-Based Monitoring System, its objectives, importance and the legal bases supporting the implementation of the CBMS. She also emphasized that the conduct of Mid-decade Census of Population will be integrated in the 2024 CBMS undertaking.

The Municipal Administrator assured the support of the LGU and to provide operational assistance for the 2024 CBMS operations through the MPDO.

Moreover, the body unanimously agreed to pass a resolution expressing full support in the implementation of the 2024 CBMS in the Municipality of Lambayong.
