The Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) of Koronadal City, under City Civil Registrar Perla C. Quidilla, continues to make its mark on the national stage, earning 9th place in the 2024 Outstanding Local Civil Registry Office Awards under the Super Extra Large Category. The recognition was conferred during the 4th National Convention on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (4NCCRVS) held from July 28 to 30, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center Clark, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

The Outstanding LCRO Awards, spearheaded annually by Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) , recognize local civil registry offices nationwide for their exemplary performance in delivering efficient, innovative, and service-oriented civil registration services.The evaluation criteria cover a wide range of indicators, including:

•submission of Civil Registry Documents, rated for timeliness and quality by both the PSA Provincial Statistical Office (PSA-PSO) and the Civil Registry System (PSA-CRS);
•Birth Registration Performance under the  Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP);
•conduct of Mobile Registration activities;
•information dissemination efforts on civil registration;
•compliance with CRS Requirements, such as submission of specimen signatures and updated directories;
•use of PhilCRIS (Philippine Civil Registry Information System); and
•over and Above Activities, including participation in trainings/seminars, coordination with agencies and LGUs, and other noteworthy initiatives.

These comprehensive criteria ensure that only the most efficient, innovative, and service-oriented LCROs are recognized.

Further solidifying its national standing, the LCRO of Koronadal City was also inducted into the Circle of Excellence—an honor reserved for offices that have consistently ranked among the Top 10 nationwide over the past five years. This distinction underscores the office’s sustained commitment to the goals of the CRVS Decade and PSA’s mission of universal and accessible civil registration for all.
