20 May 2022 - M’lang, Cotabato. The Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 12 (DA-RFO12) thru its Rice Hybridization Program invited the Philippine Statistics Authority-Regional Statistical Services Office 12 (PSA-RSSO 12) to showcase the conduct of an On-site Demonstration of Crop Establishment of Provincial Hybrid Rice Cluster Farms in Barangay New Antique, M’lang, Cotabato.

In behalf of PSA-RSSO 12, Engr. Florante Deanne Mac J. Fortinez, EO I, Provincial Statistical Office of Cotabato participated and witnessed the demonstration and operation of a Mechanical Transplanter as a medium of a mechanized transplanting of Hybrid Palay conducted by the DA-PhilMech Staff.

The said activity was participated by different Irrigators Association of M’lang, local palay farmers, Local Government Units of M’lang, Magpet and City Government of Tacurong, Provincial Agriculturist of Sultan Kudarat, Hybrid seed company representatives and other Agricultural line agencies of SOCCSKSARGEN.

During the said event, Engr. Fortinez provided auxillary information in the Production of Hybrid Palay in the province. Continuous search and innovation, partnership and stakeholders’ support will ultimately yield a quality image of Palay Production in the province.
