In preparation for the forthcoming 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System national rollout, PSA-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office spearheaded the convening of Provincial CBMS Coordinating Board (PCCB) on January 24, 2024 held at SP Hall, Provincial Capitol, Sultan Kudarat.

The Office of the Provincial Governor of Sultan Kudarat issued Executive Order No. 06, Series of 2022, an order reconstituting the Provincial Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Coordinating Board.

In accordance to this EO, the PCCB of Sultan Kudarat Province shall be chaired by the Provincial Governor, Hon. Datu Pax Ali S. Mangudatu and Chief Statistical Specialist Herlita G. Caraan of PSA-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office shall serve as Co-Chairperson of the body. This is in accordance to the CBMS Council Resolution No. 01, Series of 2022, a resolution amending the composition of the Provincial/City/Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board.

Executive Assistant II Rafael Flauta Jr., duly represented the Honorable Provincial Governor Datu Pax Ali S. Mangudadatu and was designated to serve as presider of the convening.

CSS Herlita G. Caraan emphasized that all city/municipalities in Sultan Kudarat Province are expected to join the CBMS which will be funded through the PSA.

The PCCB convening became more significant with the exchanges of thoughts of the members relevant to the identified agenda. The members also expressed their commitment and support to the 2024 CBMS.


The PCCB unanimously agreed to pass a resolution expressing full support in the implementation of the 2024 CBMS in Sultan Kudarat Province.
