The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Cotabato Province took part in the People’s Caravan organized by the National Housing Authority (NHA) under the theme “Serbisyong Dala ay Pag-asa,” aimed at providing essential services to the beneficiaries of Kidapawan City. The event was held on September 17, 2024, at the University of Southern Mindanao–Kidapawan City.
As a key partner in the caravan, PSA Cotabato highlighted its services designed to assist the community. Among these was the facilitation of civil registry document requests, where beneficiaries could file applications for the issuance of certified security paper (SECPA) copies of civil registry documents, such as birth, marriage, and death certificates. This service ensures that individuals can easily obtain vital documents needed for various legal and personal transactions.
In addition, the PSA offered on-site registration for the National ID as part of its ongoing efforts to promote the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). This service was especially beneficial for those beneficiaries who had not yet registered. A total of 28 individuals successfully completed their National ID registration during the event, further contributing to the government’s goal of fostering inclusive access to government services.
Moreover, the PSA took the opportunity to raise awareness about the newly launched Digital National ID, which offers a convenient and secure means of identity verification and access to government services online. Beneficiaries were encouraged to explore this innovative option, and further details were provided via the official website, https://national-id.gov.ph.
By participating in the People’s Caravan, PSA Cotabato reaffirmed its commitment to delivering accessible and essential services, ensuring that the people of Kidapawan City, particularly those in underserved communities, are empowered with the necessary tools to improve their quality of life.
