The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Cotabato Province actively participated in the Serbisyo at Malasakit Caravan held on February 24, 2025, at Barangay New Rizal, M’lang, Cotabato. The event, organized to bring essential government services closer to the public, gathered various national agencies, each offering their respective programs and assistance to the community.

As part of its commitment to public service, the PSA Regional Office provided same-day issuance of Security Paper (SECPA) to individuals who availed of civil registry documents during the caravan. This initiative ensured that residents could quickly obtain authenticated copies of birth, marriage, and death certificates without the usual processing time.

Meanwhile, the PSA Cotabato National ID team from M’lang facilitated on-site National ID registration for individuals who had not yet enrolled in the National ID. A total of 34 new registrants from M’lang took advantage of this opportunity. In addition, the team issued National IDs in paper form to those who opted for the printed version and provided assistance with the Digital National ID, helping residents understand its features and usage.

To make the experience more enjoyable for young registrants, PSA personnel distributed candies to children who registered for the National ID, bringing smiles to their faces while encouraging early participation in the PhilSys program.

In the afternoon, PSA Regional Director Atty. Maqtahar L. Manulon, CESO V, together with OIC-PSO Norhayyah A. Tula and other key personnel, visited the caravan to oversee the implementation of PSA services. Their presence ensured that the services provided were efficiently delivered and responsive to the needs of the public.

The Serbisyo at Malasakit Caravan demonstrated the government’s dedication to making essential services more accessible, particularly in rural communities. The PSA remains steadfast in its mission to provide reliable civil registration and National ID services that contribute to social and economic inclusion for all Filipinos.
