The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Cotabato Province, represented by Senior Statistical Specialists Norhayyah A. Tula and Edna Alagano, along with PhilSys Focal Person Jenny Pearl C. Junasa, organized an informative session on the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) and Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). This event took place on February 27, 2024 at the 72nd Infantry (Gabay) Battalion, 10th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, located in Brgy. Pangao-an, Magpet, Cotabato.
The gathering was attended by all Gabay Troops in the area, under the leadership of LTC Julius C. Paclibar INF (GSC) PA, who is the Commanding Officer of the 72nd Infantry Battalion. The session aimed to disseminate crucial information about CBMS and PhilSys, emphasizing their importance and benefits to the community.
Simultaneously, the team facilitated the registration process for individuals who had not yet enrolled in the PhilSys, ensuring that all eligible participants had the opportunity to be a part of this essential identification system. Furthermore, the team facilitated the issuance of ePhilID for those who had not yet received their physical PhilID card, enhancing the efficiency of the registration process and ensuring that participants have access to their identification credentials.
