The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Cotabato Province actively participated in the Kasalan ng Bayan organized by the Municipality of Libungan, Cotabato on February 14, 2025, at the Municipal Covered Court of Libungan. This mass wedding ceremony was a heartfelt celebration of love and unity, bringing together couples as they officially tied the knot in a meaningful and joyous event.
The ceremony was graced by Regional Director Atty. Maqtahar L. Manulon, CESO V, who served as the Guest Speaker. In his address, he extended his warmest congratulations to the newlyweds, emphasizing the significance of marriage as a lifelong commitment built on love, trust, and mutual respect. OIC–PSO Norhayyah A. Tula also delivered an inspiring message, offering valuable advice to the couples as they embarked on their journey of married life.
As part of PSA’s commitment to public service, the agency provided on-site issuance of Security Papers (SECPA) for individuals requesting copies of their civil registry documents. This same-day processing was made possible through the mobile registration unit brought by the PSA Regional Office 12, ensuring efficient and convenient access to essential documents.
Additionally, PSA Cotabato conducted National ID registration for individuals who had yet to enroll in the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). For those who had already completed their registration, the agency facilitated the issuance of National ID in paper format and provided assistance with the Digital National ID for those who requested it.
Through these initiatives, PSA Cotabato continues to uphold its mission of delivering accessible and responsive civil registration and identification services, reinforcing its commitment to serving the public with efficiency and dedication.
