The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Cotabato Province actively participated in the Two-Day Mobile Registration activity spearheaded by the Office of the Local Civil Registrar (LCR) of Midsayap, under the leadership of OIC-Municipal Civil Registrar Philline C. Cadungog, MPA. The event, held on May 29–30, 2025 at the 2nd Floor of the Mega Market, Barangay Poblacion 1, Midsayap, Cotabato, was a collaborative effort aimed at bringing essential government services closer to the people, particularly those residing in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.

This initiative provided a valuable opportunity for the constituents of Midsayap and even neighboring municipalities to conveniently access vital services, including issuance of civil registry documents, and National ID registration.

The PSA Cotabato team, composed of Registration Officer II Jenny Pearl C. Junasa, Registration Kit Operator Elizalde Jr. O. Deligero, and Registration Assistant Kennith G. Ido, rendered on-site assistance by facilitating National ID registration for individuals who had not yet enrolled in the National ID system. On May 29, the team registered a total of 78 individuals, followed by 126 registrants on May 30, resulting in a total of 204 successful registrations over the two-day activity. Among those served were senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), children below five years old, and adult individuals, underscoring the inclusive nature of the service delivery.

In addition to new registrations, the PSA team also extended assistance to previously registered individuals by; Issuing their ePhilID (the printed, official version of the National ID) and guiding them on how to access their Digital National ID via mobile devices or online platforms.

Through the proactive efforts of the LCR Midsayap and the PSA Cotabato team, the event was a resounding success. It reaffirmed the importance of inter-agency collaboration in ensuring that no one is left behind in accessing government services, particularly in the National ID System.

The PSA Cotabato Province expresses its gratitude to the Municipal Government of Midsayap and the Office of the Local Civil Registrar for their continued partnership in promoting accessible and inclusive civil registration and National ID services.
