As part of the month-long celebration of 2023 National Women’s Month, the Philippine Statistics Authority XII conducted a Webinar on Good Public Speaking: A Woman’s Confidence on 14 March 2023 via Zoom meeting platform. 

              The lecture was conducted by Ms. Nirvana Alpha Vita G. Fruylan, Information Officer III of the Philippine Information Agency XII. Ms. Ms. Fruylan first defined good public speaking and then presented tips and guidelines to effective public speaking. She also discussed 21 on tips how to host an activity or be an effective master of ceremony as well as the proper communication and dealing with the media.

              The lecture was very informative especially to the new and young employees of the PSA XII who are eager to learn and be empowered through public speaking. The open forum became one of the interactions that paved for questions from the participants.

              The activity was attended by the PSA RSSO XII staff and employees and the member of the GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) in the PSA Provincial Offices.

              Meanwhile, in recognition to the empowered women in PSA XII, an award was given to the Most Confident Woman in PSA RSSO XII. The PSA RSSO XII employees voted Ms. Ma. Eileen A. Berdeprado, Chief Statistical Specialist of SOCD as the Most Confident Woman.

               PSA XII has lined-up series of webinars and activities as part of the observance of the month-long celebration of National Women’s Month.

              They presented their agency’s plans and programs/activities to mitigate the rising price inflation of major commodities in SOCCSKSARGEN Region.

               The activity was participated by various regional line agencies, academe, LGUs, and private sector.
