On February 14, 2025, the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) of Surallah, in partnership with PSA South Cotabato, held a successful mobile registration drive in Barangay Dajay. This event, as part of the observance of the 35th Civil Registration Month and Valentine’s Day, provided local residents with an opportunity to register live births and sign up for the National Identification System, giving them access to crucial government services.

Led by Engr. Gemma J. Burgos, Municipal Civil Registrar of Surallah, and supported by PSA South Cotabato’s Civil Registration Team, the initiative made it easier for people to obtain their legal identities. By bringing these services directly to the community, the mobile drive helped remove barriers to registration, ensuring that everyone has the chance to secure their rightful identification.
Through this partnership with LCRO Surallah and other local government units, PSA South Cotabato is making steady progress in fostering a well-documented, empowered community—one that is fully equipped to participate in the opportunities that come with legal recognition and access to national services.
