The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – South Cotabato, in partnership with the Local Civil Registrar Office (LCRO) of Tupi headed by Ms. Elsie P. Sales, successfully rolled out school-based mobile registration for the National Identification System across elementary and integrated schools public in Tupi South District this July 2025.

The initiative aimed to bring National ID services directly to learners, school personnel, and residents in nearby communities, particularly in areas with limited access to regular registration centers. Through this collaboration, PSA and LCR-Tupi were able to reach hundreds of unregistered individuals, helping them take a crucial step toward accessing essential government services and programs.

PSA South Cotabato extends its appreciation to the school heads, local officials, and the community for their active participation and support throughout the mobile registration rollout. The agency remains committed to expanding the reach of PhilSys, especially in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.

The school-based registration efforts will continue in Tupi North District this August 2025. Residents and school stakeholders are encouraged to stay informed of upcoming schedules and prepare the necessary documents.
