South Cotabato, July 2025 — Staying true to its commitment to accessible and inclusive public service, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – South Cotabato successfully conducted a province-wide mobile registration campaign for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) throughout July 2025, with a special focus on senior citizens.
In collaboration with the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) and in coordination with Local Government Units (LGUs) in South Cotabato, the month-long initiative brought PhilSys registration services directly to barangays—particularly those in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs).

Mobile registration teams were dispatched to the following sites:
• July 7–11: Brgy. Denlag and Lamfugon (Lake Sebu); San Felipe, Magon, Mangilala, Dumadalig, and Bukay Pait (Tantangan);
• July 21–22: Brgy. Liberty and Klubi (Tampakan); Tasiman and Palo (Lake Sebu and Tampakan);
• July 24–25: Brgy. Maltana, Albagan, and Lamcade (Tampakan); Lamdalag (Lake Sebu); and
• July 28–31: Brgy. Tablu, Pula Bato, and Danlag (Tampakan); Takunel (Lake Sebu).
In addition to on-site services, the PSA also extended home-based registration to bedridden and mobility-impaired senior citizens, ensuring no one is left behind in the national effort.
The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) aims to simplify public and private transactions by providing every Filipino and resident alien with a unique and secure digital ID, enabling easier access to social protection, banking, education, and healthcare services.

Through this initiative, PSA South Cotabato strengthens its role in delivering compassionate, inclusive, and people-centered governance—one registration at a time.
PSA South Cotabato calls on all unregistered senior citizens and their families to avail themselves of the National ID registration.
