The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) was given exemption by the Interagency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) from the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), under Resolution No. 22 dated 08 April 2020, allowing the agency to conduct data gathering and survey activities related to the impact of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

This month, we are conducting the Labor Force Survey and our regular price surveys. As we take on the challenge of collecting data, the PSA encourages everyone to cooperate and allow our fieldworkers to carry out the surveys in their communities.

The PSA ensures that the conduct of its survey operations strictly follow the protocol and guidelines prescribed by the IATF-EID.
