The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) XII conducted the ceremonial contract signing with its Security Service Provider for CY 2023 on 09 January 2022 at the Bersales Hall, PSA RSSO XII, Koronadal City. 

           Attendees of the event were Atty. Maqtahar L. Manulon, CESO V (PSA XII Regional Director and Head of Procuring Entity (HOPE), Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Members, Technical Working Group (TWG), and the BAC Secretariat. The Supreme Investigative and Security Agency (SISA), which was the region’s CY 2022 service provider was also invited in the event.

           Highlights of the event included the ceremonial turnover from SISA to MCKinsmen Security Services. And the ceremonial contract signing ensued afterwards between the PSA XII and the MCKinsmen. The respective Chief Statistical Specialists (CSS) of the region shared their expectations to the new security service provider. 

           Among the expectations shared by the CSS included that the MCKinsmen will uphold the existing systems and processes of the PSA, revisit the existing security protocols and introduce improvements, train security guards to anticipate various risks, strengthen the capacity of the security guards to provide security, conduct refresher trainings for its personnel, and establishment of a harmonious partnership between the PSA XII and the MCKinsmen. 

           The activity ended with Mr. Peter C. Morales, the Operations Manager of MCKinsmen, accepting the challenges and being open to a harmonious partnership with PSA XII.
