The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) XII will conduct the Regional Dissemination on the 2021 Full Year Official Poverty Statistics on 25 October 2022, 9:00 AM at Avior Hotel, General Santos City. This activity aims to disseminate to the general public the results of the 2021 Full Year Official Poverty Statistics in SOCCSKSARGEN Region.

The 2021 Full Year Official Poverty Statistics is generated by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) based on the preliminary results of the 2021 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES). Poverty estimates at the national, regional, provincial, and highly urbanized city levels were generated based on the methodology on the estimation of official poverty statistics as approved in PSA Board Resolution No. 1, Series of 2017 – 171 (NSCB Resolution No. 09, Series of 2011).

The PSA hopes that this report will be useful to the general public, most especially to the researchers, and program and policy makers, in further developing and enhancing targeting strategies in poverty reduction.
