The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistics Services Office (PSA-RSSO) XII will host the 3rd PSA Directorate Meeting on 16-19 August 2022 at The Farm, Brgy. Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City. The Meeting is held every quarter. It is a formal gathering of an organization's top officials to discuss various challenges faced by the agency as well as significant issues and concerns within and outside the PSA.

The PSA Directorate is composed of official with the rank of Directors, Assistant National Statisticians (ANS), Deputy National Statisticians (DNS), and the National Statistician and Civil Registrar General (NSCRG). The NSCRG, Undersecretary Dr. Dennis S. Mapa will lead the delegations of more than forty (40) officials to Koronadal City and will preside over the said meeting.

It is recalled that the PSA was created by RA10625 on September 12, 2012 which has the mandate of planning, develop, prescribe, disseminate, and enforce policies, rules and regulations, and coordinate government-wide programs governing the production of official statistics, general purpose statistics, civil registration services and inclusive identification system and primarily be responsible for all national censuses and surveys, sectoral statistics, community-based statistics, consolidation of selected administrative recording systems, and compilation of national accounts. More recently, the PSA was mandated to implement Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) under RA 11055 and Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) under RA 11315.

PSA-RSSO 12 headed by its Regional Director, Atty. Maqtahar L. Manulon expressed elation in hosting the very important event of the PSA. “I am thankful to Usec. Mapa for bringing the 3rd quarter directorate meeting to our region. On behalf of PSA 12 I am pleased to welcome to Koronadal City all these officials and other colleagues coming from different regions of the country as well as our central office”, said RD Manulon.
