Koronadal City, South Cotabato – December 16, 2024 – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) XII successfully conducted its 13th General Assembly at The Farm, Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City. With the theme "Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit PSA," the event brought together around 170 personnel from the Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO) XII and its four provincial offices. The assembly's activities were facilitated by the regional office, with the aim of strengthening collaboration and enhance the agency's resilience and adaptability for future challenges.
In his address, Regional Director Atty. Maqtahar L. Manulon highlighted the significance of the annual event as a time to reflect on the milestones achieved in 2024 despite the challenges faced throughout the year. While celebrating these accomplishments, he also expressed sympathy for colleagues and fellow citizens affected by the recent typhoons and calamities that have struck the country. The theme of the event, Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-Fit PSA, underscores the recognition of the complexities and uncertainties ahead, with resilience being the foundation for navigating these challenges and adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
Atty. Manulon emphasized the importance of positioning the organization not just to respond, but to thrive in the face of adversity. He also commended the efforts and contributions of committee heads, members, drivers, and PSOs, thanking everyone for their active participation in the success of the event.
The event provided an opportunity for the staff to engage in a variety of enjoyable activities, serving as a platform not only to celebrate their achievements but also to foster camaraderie with colleagues from other offices.
In her closing remarks, OIC Ms. Ma. Eileen A. Berdeprado expressed her sincere gratitude to the management for facilitating this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring together over 170 employees in celebration of milestones and successes, marking the achievements of 2024.
Moreover, she conveyed her heartfelt gratitude for the retirees' years of service, dedication, and the invaluable wisdom they have shared.
