The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), as the lead agency responsible for the registration of Filipino citizens under the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that all Filipinos, regardless of age, are included in the National ID system. To fulfill this mandate, the PSA Cotabato Province has launched the “Rehistro Bulilit” campaign, an initiative aimed at encouraging parents and guardians to register children aged one to five years old.

Expanding its efforts, the PSA has recently extended the registration to include children below one year old, following the release of a new office memorandum. This progressive step underscores the PSA's dedication to creating an inclusive system that captures every segment of the population. The registration for children under one year old officially commenced on November 15, 2024.

As of November 25, 2024, PSA Cotabato Province has successfully registered a total of 42,394 children below five years old under the National ID system. This includes 42,137 registrations for children aged one to five years old and 257 registrations for infants below one year old. These figures reflect the agency’s unwavering commitment to its goal of registering all Filipinos, ensuring that every individual is accounted for in the national database.

Through initiatives like "Rehistro Bulilit," the PSA continues to foster active participation from parents and guardians, emphasizing the importance of early registration. By doing so, the agency not only upholds its mandate but also strengthens the foundation for a more inclusive and efficient national identification system for the Philippines.
