The Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute, in partnership with Philippine Statistics Authority - Regional Statistical Services Office XII, conducted a training on the Data Visualization using Canva for the members of the Regional Statistical Committee XII. The three day training was conducted on 21 - 23 February 2023 at Mapa Hall, PSA - RSSO XII Office. It was attended by 42 trainees  from 18 member-agencies including personnel from the PSA XII and provincial offices.

                  PSA - RSSO XII Regional Director Atty. Maqtahar L. Manulon, CESO V, and Executive Director  III Josefina V. Almeda, Ph. D., delivered encouraged the participants to actively participate on the said training and capacity building.

                  Ms. Jazel Ann G. Ramos, Statistical Specialist II and Mr. Brad Earvin T. Zuñiga, Statistical Specialist II of PSRTI, were the resource persons for the three day training. They discussed Data Visualization, Data Storytelling, Review on basic statistics, and Hands-on Guide on Canva. On the third day, a workshop ensued where the participants were grouped applying the tips and techniques imparted in the training to draft an infographics.

                  NEDA XII Director Socorro C. Ramos as RSC XII Chairperson, thanked the PSA-RSSO XII in spearheading the training as well as the PSRTI for conducting the said training for the RSC XII members and hoped that more statistical-related trainings will be conducted in the future to capacitate statistical personnel in SOCCSKSARGEN Region.
