
SSS Mendoza presented the first major contributor to the April 2025 Inflation of South Cotabato.
The Philippine Statistics Authority – South Cotabato has successfully conducted the April 2025 Inflation Rate Data Dissemination last 15 May 2025 at 2:00 PM via Google-Meet.
In the report, South Cotabato’s inflation rate decreased to -2.0 percent in April 2025. It was lower by 8.3 percentage points from the same month last year at 6.3 percent; and 1.4 percentage points lower from March 2025 at -0.6 percent. South Cotabato’s inflation is also lower by 3.4 percentage points compared to the national estimate of 1.4 and 0.6 percentage points to the regional estimate of -1.4.
The key contributors to the downtrend in the province’s inflation rate for April 2025 were (1) Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages, (2) Transport, and (3) Personal Care and Miscellaneous Goods and Services.
The monthly briefing brought together stakeholders from various sectors throughout the province. The activity aims to keep the public and key groups updated on current price trends and their effects on the local economy.
