For the 1st Quarter of 2019, Sultan Kudarat Province had produced a total of 54,024.29 metric tons of corn. Compared to the same quarter of last year, production decreased by 6,422.71 metric tons or 10.63 percent less. The said decrease was brought by the decrease in area harvested and yield per ha. due to the occurrence of dry spell during the 1st quarter this year.
