The PSA-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office led the convening of the City CBMS Coordinating Board (CCCB) of LGU- Tacurong City on January 25, 2024 held at HRMO Office, City Hall, Tacurong City.

Prior to this convening, the City Government of Tacurong issued Executive Order No. 05, Series of 2024, an order creating the Tacurong City Community-Based Monitoring System Coordinating Board (TCCBMSCB) and defining the composition and functions thereof.

The honorable City Mayor, Hon. Joseph George Lechonsito, designated CSS Herlita G. Caraan to preside the CBMS convening.

CSS Herlita G. Caraan presented the objectives and importance of the CBMS.

One of the features of the CBMS that CSS Caraan highlighted is its capacity to generate registries of target beneficiaries as an aid to more focused delivery of local government interventions.

Upon motion of the City Statistician Elmer B. Felongco and duly seconded by the City PESO Manager/ Information Officer Allan S. Freno, the body agreed to pass a pass a resolution expressing full support in the implementation of the 2024 CBMS in the City of Tacurong.

In addition, the body also initiated to create CBMS teams in the Barangay level to ensure the successful operation of the CBMS in their respective barangays.
