PSA-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office spearheaded the convening of the Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board of LGU-Lutayan on January 19, 2024 at the Conference Room, New Municipal Hall, Lutayan, Sultan Kudarat Province.

This activity is conducted in preparation for the conduct of the national rollout of the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) in 2024.

Lutayan Municipal Mayor Hon. Sultan Pax S. Mangudadatu, Al Haj, delegated Sangguniang Bayan Member Hon. Ronnie L. Genovia to preside the convening.

CBMS Provincial Focal Person SrSS Roselyn G. Fornan presented the objectives and importance of the CBMS.
SrSS Fornan also emphasized the important roles and functions of the MCCB towards the successful conduct of the said census in the municipality.

During the open forum, the MCCB members pledged to support the conduct of the CBMS particularly by providing venue that would serve as storage facility and headquarter of the CBMS hired field personnel. The MCCB also committed to provide assistance in terms of logistics and would conduct information drive in the barangays.

The convening concluded with the passing of resolution enjoining the support of the municipal stakeholders and the general public to the conduct of the 2024 CBMS in the Muncipality of Lutayan.
