The Philippine Statistics Authority-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office (PSA-SK) in partnership with the Local Civil Registry Offices (LCROs) will spearhead the 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM) in the province this   February 2025 with the theme “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-Fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) System.”  The annual celebration is conducted pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 682 s. 1991 “Declaring the Month of February of Every Year as Civil Registration Month” which aims to remind the citizenry of their duty to register acts and events concerning status of persons as well as enhance nationwide awareness and appreciation of the legal, administrative and statistical values of civil registry documents such as birth, death and marriage certificates among others.

To officially kick off the 35th CRM celebration, a motorcade will be conducted at 7:00 am from PSA-SK heading to Carlito’s Hotel, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat for the opening ceremony to be participated in by the Local Civil Registrars and selected staff, Solemnizing Officers, Shari’a Circuit Registrars and other stakeholders.

Several activities are also lined-up for the month-long celebration such as Hanging of Streamers, Infographics Contest, Holding of 1st Quarter Meeting with LCROs, Mobile Civil Registration, Kasalan ng Barangay/Bayan, Information Dissemination in Schools, and Civil Registration Quiz Bee. The celebration will be highlighted with the recognition of Top Five (5) performing LCROs in the province to be held during the 35th CRM Closing Ceremony.
