Cotabato Province Headline Inflation down to 6.9% in August 2022

Headline inflation rate or the annual rate of change on the prices of goods and services in the market basket in Cotabato Province down to 6.9 percent in August 2022 from 7.0 percent in July 2022. This is higher than the regional and national levels at 6.6 percent and 6.3 percent respectively. A downtrend inflation rate was observed for this month. Inflation in August 2021 was lower at 6.1 percent. The average inflation for All items for the eight months of the year stood at 4.9 percent.
