Headline inflation rate or the annual rate of change on the prices of goods and services in the market basket in Cotabato Province went up to 8.0 percent in January 2023 from 7.4 percent in December 2022. This is higher than the regional but lower than the national level at 7.4 percent and 8.7 percent respectively. A uptrend inflation rate was observed for this month. Inflation in January 2022 was lower at 4.1 percent. The inflation for All items in January 2023 stood at 8.0 percent.
