The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) XII enjoins the public to cooperate and support the conduct of the July 2025 round Labor Force Survey (LFS) with questions on Tourism Employment and 2025 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) as its rider.

The authority and mandate of the PSA to conduct the said survey emanated from Article 5, Rule 4 of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of RA 10625, otherwise known as the Philippine Statistical Act of 2013, stipulating that the Philippine Statistics Authority is primarily responsible for all national censuses and surveys, sectoral statistics, consolidation of selected administrative recording systems and compilation of national accounts.

The inclusion of Tourism Employment Questions in the July 2025 LFS aims to provide a clearer and more accurate picture of the tourism sector’s contribution to national employment as reported to the Philippine Tourism Satellite Accounts.

The FIES is a survey on family income and expenditure of households undertaken by the PSA across the country. It is the main source of data on family income and expenditure in the Philippines. The 2025 FIES marks the 21st time the survey has been conducted since 1957.

The enumeration period will start on July 8 and will end in July 31, 2025 including Saturdays and Holidays but excluding Sundays.

The PSA XII solicits all stakeholders in the region, especially sample households, to support the July 2025 Labor Force Survey with Tourism Employment questions and 2025 Family Income and Expenditure Survey Visit-1.
