Sarangani Headline Inflation Decreases to 8.2 % in January 2023

The headline inflation or the annual rate of change on the prices of goods and services in the market basket in Sarangani for the month of January 2023 decreased from 8.4 percent in December 2022 to 8.2 percent. This was higher than the regional level at 7.4 percent but lower than the national level at 8.7 percent. In January 2022, inflation was observed at 4.6 percent.
