YEAR-ON-YEAR INFLATION RATES

Headline inflation rate or the annual rate of change on the prices of goods and services in the market basket for all income households in SOCCSKSARGEN Region rose to 7.1% in December 2022 from 7.0% the previous month. This is 1.0 percentage point lower than the national inflation of 8.1% for the current month under review. Average inflation for the last twelve months of 2022 was at 5.6%, higher than the national average.
