YEAR-ON-YEAR INFLATION RATES

Headline inflation rate or the annual rate of change on the prices of goods and services in the market basket for all income households in SOCCSKSARGEN Region sustained a 6.6% inflation rate in August 2022. This is higher by 0.3 percentage point from the national inflation of 6.3% for the current month under review. Inflation for the first eight months of the year averaged at 5.0%, higher than the national average of 4.8%.
