The Province of Cotabato has recorded 23,766 live births by place of occurrence for year 2019. As shown in figure 1 below there is a slight increase by 0.15 percent from January to December 2018 compared to January to December of 2019.

In the year 2019, most registered live births occurred in the month of May at 2,092 or 8.80 percent out of the total registered live births in the Province of Cotabato. On the other hand, the least registered live births occurred in the month of February with 1,755 live births only or 7.4 percent share of the total registration. There were 1,981 monthly average registration for year 2019.

The City of Kidapawan posted the highest number of recorded live births of 7,520 or a whopping 31.64 percent. It has a huge difference in number with the Municipality of Midsayap that comes in second place with 3,099 (13.04%) recorded live births, then followed by the Municipality of Pikit with 2,148 (9.04%), then by the Municipality of M'lang with 1,680 (7.07%) recorded live births, and then by the Municipality of Kabacan with 1,660 (6.98%).

The Municipality of Arakan has the lowest recorded live birth in Province of Cotabato with 170 live births which is only 0.72 percent of the 23,766 total registered live births, then followed by the Municipality of Magpet with 293 (1.23%), and then by the Municipality of Banisilan with 328 (1.38%).
