The economy of Sultan Kudarat Province grew by 5.2 percent in 2023, slightly slower than the 5.4 percent growth recorded in 2022. This growth translates to an increase in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the province from PhP 71.51 billion in 2022 to PhP 75.26 billion in 2023. (Figure 1)

 

 

Agriculture, forestry, and fishing contributed the largest share in the provincial economy in 2023, accounting for 37.6 percent of the province’s GDP.

Moreover, in SOCCSKSARGEN Region, Sultan Kudarat Province contributed 14.4 percent of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) estimated at PhP 521.18 billion in 2023. (Figure 2)
