Total external trade up

The external trade in goods in SOCCSKSARGEN Region totaled to US$187.551 million in June 2021, down by 0.4 percent from US$188.271 million in June 2020 (Table 1).

Trade balance decrease

Balance of trade in goods (BoT-G) is the difference between the value of exports and imports. The (BoT-G) on June 2021 amounted to US$44.125 million, about 18.9 percent lower than the US$54.442 million the previous year (Table 1).

Merchandise Trade
Exports of SOCCSKSARGEN Region dropped by 4.5 percent to US$115.838 million in June 2021 from US$121.356 million in June 2020. The volume of exports decreased by 97.272 million kilograms in June 2021 from 105.134 million kilograms in the same month of 2020. Imports in June 2021 rose up by 7.2 percent to US$71.713 million from US$66.915 million in June 2020. Import volume reached at 248.151 million kilograms in June 2021 more that double the 109.546 million kilograms of June 2020 (Table 1).
