PSA Sultan Kudarat Conducts Technical Session via Virtual Platform on the Use of PSA e-verification and National ID Check Applications
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office conducted an online orientation on the use of PSA e-verification and national ID check applications to the technical staff of the Provincial Cluster Office (PCO) III – Sultan Kudarat, under the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office XII on 25 October 2024. The session was also participated by municipal links and other field implementers from the eleven (11) municipalities and one (1) city of the province. Registration Officer II Emelyn L. Detablan and ISA I Jarlo D. Granada served as the resource persons.
The said orientation was conducted in response to the DSWD’s request to hold a meeting and to introduce the PSA e-verification and National ID Check applications used in verifying the authenticity of the civil registry documents as well as the national ID. This is in support to the DSWD’s series of validations they conducted in the registration of potential beneficiaries for household replacement activates and validation of data inconsistencies of 4Ps grantees and household member.
The online session includes topics on understanding the National ID and Civil Registry System, which presents a comprehensive overview of the national ID and civil registration system, specifically the features of the PSA e-verification. The participants were then guided on how to use the system through a demonstration and hands-on exercise using available documents. The actual application of the tools able to capacitate the staff in the verification of civil registry documents such as birth and marriage certificates as required documents in DSWD validation activity.
Both the PSA and DSWD emphasize the government’s commitment to ensuring the reliability and security of National ID and Civil Registry Documents, a vital tool for efficient service delivery, social inclusion, and economic development.
This collaboration between the two government agencies demonstrates a commitment to protecting the rights and interests of Filipino citizens.
