YEAR-ON-YEAR INFLATION RATES

Headline inflation rate or the annual rate of change on the prices of goods and services in the market basket in SOCCSKSARGEN Region went up by 4.2% in April 2022 from 3.3% in March 2022. A difference of 0.9 percentage point from the previous month. From April 2021 to April 2022, the highest monthly inflation rate was on August 2021 at 5.8% and the lowest was recorded in March 2021 at 3.3%. Inflation for the first four months of the year averaged at 4.1%.
