M’lang, Cotabato recorded a total population of 98,195 persons
The Municipality of M’lang in the Province of Cotabato has a total population of 98,195 as of May 1, 2020 based on the result of the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (2020 CPH).
The 2020 population of the municipality of M’lang is higher by 3,125 compared with the population of 95,070 in 2015; 10,446 versus the population in 2010 with 87,749 and more than doubled or 56,110 higher compared six decades ago with the population of 42,085 in 1960.
The population of the Municipaity of M’lang grew by 0.68 percent
M’lang, Cotabato increased its population by 0.68 percent annually, on average, during the period 2015-2020. By comparison, the annual population growth rate of M’lang during the period 2015-2020 decreased by (-55.84) percent compared to 2010-2015 with 1.54% population growth rate (pgr).
Dungo-an ranked 1 as the most populous barangay in Municipality of M’lang in Cotabato
The Barangay of Dungo-an recorded the highest population with 7,658 persons or 7.80 percent of the total population of the municipality. This was followed by barangays of Bagontapay with 7,121 and Poblacion with 4,913 persons or 7.25 and 5.0 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Barangay of La Suerte registered the lowest population with 705 individuals or 0.72 percent of the total population of M’lang.
The barangays of Liboo and Calunasan were the top two fastest growing barangay with an average PGR of 5.16 percent and 4.07 percent, respectively. On the other hand, Barangay Malayan was the slowest with an APGR of -8.04 percent.
