This is the highest inflation rate reported for 2022 and the highest since January 2019. In December of 2021, inflation was lower at 3.0 percent. Inflation rate for all items of Sultan Kudarat Province for the whole year 2022 averaged at 5.0 percent.

The headline inflation rate or the year-on-year change on the prices of goods and services in the market basket in the province of Sultan Kudarat accelerated further to 7.3 percent in January 2023, from 6.1 percent in December 2022. This is the highest inflation rate reported since January 2019. In January of 2022, inflation was lower at 4.2 percent.

Cotabato Province: Fisheries Production increased by 13.8 percent in 2022. The total volume of fisheries production in 2022(combined Inland Municipal and Aquaculture) in Cotabato Province posted growth by 13.8 percent compared to 2021 volume of fisheries production, from 11,401.83 metric tons in 2021 production to 21,970.72 metric tons in 2022 production.

Cotabato Province: Palay Production grew by 2.0 percent in 2022. The total volume of Palay Production of Cotabato Province in 2022 posted growth by 2.0 percent compared to 2021 total volume of Palay Production with 500,973 metric tons to 510,973.18 metric tons in 2022.
