Population of Midsayap reaches at 151,684 Population of the Municipality of Midsayap Cotabato increases at 2.36 percent annually. As of August 1, 2015, the municipality of Midsayap has recorded a total population of about 151,684 persons. This count ranked second among the 18 municipalities of Cotabato Province and it comprised about 11% of the province’s total population which is 1,379,747. In May 2010 its population was 134,170 which means that it has increased by 17,514 in five-year time. The result showed that its population increased on the average of 2.36 percent annually from 2010 to 2015. The number of households on the other hand recorded at 34,198.

Safe drinking water is essential. The sources of drinking water may be improved or unimproved. An improved source includes sources that, by nature of their construction or through active intervention, are protected from outside contamination, particularly faecal matter these include piped into dwelling/yard/plot, piped to neighbor, public tap/standpipe, tube well/borehole, protected dug well, protected spring, rainwater, and bottled water/refilling station. Based on the results of the 2017 National Demographic and Health Survey (2017 NDHS), 95 percent of households in the Philippines got their drinking water from improved sources. Region XII was among those regions with high distribution of households whose drinking water came from improved sources. . . .
