2018 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has generated report on the SOCCSKSARGEN Region’s official poverty statistics for the year 2018. This report provides the estimates of poverty incidence using income data from this survey - these are statistics that can best describe the family income and food security level in province.

Palay production in SOCCSKSARGEN Region in the third quarter of 2021 reached 460,703 metric tons, higher by 13.1 percent compared to the 407,446 metric tons produced in the same period of 2020. Regional palay production increased by 53,257 metric tons in all types of palay ecosystem during the period.

Corn production in SOCCSKSARGEN Region in the second quarter of 2021 reached 96,341 metric tons, higher by 23.9 percent compared to the 77,747 metric tons produced in the same period of 2020. Total corn production in the region increased by 18,594 metric tons in all types of corn during the period under review.

Corn production in SOCCSKSARGEN Region in the third quarter of 2021 was at 380,967 metric tons, lower by 12.8 percent compared to the 436,780 metric tons produced in the same period of 2020. Total corn production in the region decreased by 55,814 metric tons in all types of corn during the period under review.
