Cotabato Province Headline Inflation increases at 0.7 percent in March 2025

The headline inflation rate or the year-on-year change in the prices of goods and services commonly  purchased by people in the province of Cotabato Province increased at 0.7 percent in March 2025 from 0.2 percent in February 2025. This was higher than the regional level but lower than the national  level at –0.2 percent and 1.8 percent respectively.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Cotabato Province actively participated in the 1st Quarter Meeting and Information Session of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Region XII. The event occurred on March 26, 2025, at the Function Hall, Brgy. Poblacion, Libungan, Cotabato, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss crucial updates and initiatives related to the program.
PSA and DSWD Strengthen National ID Awareness

The Philippine Statistics Authority-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office (PSA-SK) has successfully participated in an Information Caravan on 26 February 2025, at the Tacurong Sports & Cultural Center to raise public awareness on the National ID System and its frontline services. This initiative is part of the PSA-SK commitment to efficient government transactions, avoiding red tape, and combating the proliferation of fake news and fraudulent identifications.

The program was hosted by Statistical Specialist II (SS II) Regie T. Lemana and Statistical Analyst (SA) Joseph R. Bergonia, featuring important information about the National ID including its benefits as the topic of the week.
