The Philippine Statistics Authority - Sultan Kudarat (PSA-SK) successfully concluded the monthlong celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month with a theme “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) System” with a closing ceremony held on 04 March 2025 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the New Executive Building, City Hall, Tacurong City.

On 07 March 2025, the Philippine Statistics Authority-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office (PSA-SK) – Civil Registry System (CRS)- Tacurong City Outlet participated in the International Women's Day Celebration, which carries the theme “Accelerate Action,” encouraging society to push for gender equality and women’s empowerment.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) SOCCSKSARGEN Region concluded the 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM) with a grand closing program held on 07 March 2025 at The Farm, Carpenter Hill, National Highway, Koronadal City, South Cotabato. The event recognized and honored the outstanding contributions of Local Civil Registry Offices in Region Xll, with a series of awards highlighting excellence and commitment to civil registration services. The selection of top performing LCROs was based on their performance in terms of the timeliness and accuracy of submitted civil registry documents, compliance to PO and CRD requirements, PhilCRIS and BREQS reports and over and above civil registration activities in 2024.

The PSA-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office conducted an information dissemination on civil registration and National ID at Kalanawe II National High School on 20 February 2025 at 1:30 p.m. This was the fourth in a series of information dissemination activity by PSA-SK to streamline basic information on civil registration and related statistics, and to relay National ID frontline services and updates. The activity was participated by 127 senior high school students including faculty staff of the said school.

The headline inflation rate or the year-on-year change in the prices of goods and services commonly purchased by people in the province of Sultan Kudarat slowed down to 0.2 percent in February 2025 compared to 1.3 percent recorded in January of the same year. This brings the provincial average inflation from January to February 2025 at 0.8 percent. In February 2024, the inflation rate was higher at 4.9 percent.

The Philippine Statistics Authority Region XII conducted the 2022 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Data Turnover Ceremony on 24 February 2025 at Municipal Hall, Poblacion B, M’lang, North Cotabato. It was participated by the PSA XII Regional Director Atty. Maqtahar L. Manulon, Statistical Operation and Coordination Division (SOCD) Chief Sittimazuin M. Hofileña, PSA Cotabato Province OIC-Chief Statistical Specialists (CSS) Norhayyah A. Tula, PSA Focal Persons, DILG XII, and Local Government Unit (LGU) Officials headed by Municipal Hon. Mayor Atty. Russel M. Abonado.

The Philippine Statistics Authority-Sultan Kudarat (PSA-SK), in collaboration with Tacurong National High School (TNHS), marked the 35th Civil Registration Month celebration with a successful information dissemination on PSA’s Statistical Products and Civil Registration and National ID Services. The event held at TNHS Gymnasium in New Isabela, Tacurong City from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on 18 February 2025 and was attended by one hundred forty (140) Grade 12 students. This initiative effectively raised awareness about the significance of accurate civil registration and vital statistics in the school community.

In line with the celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM) and as part of a broader initiative across the province to promote civil registration and support family values, the Local Government of Senator Ninoy Aquino hosted a “Kasalang Bayan” on 14 February 2025 at 9:00 a.m. The significant event took place at Barangay Kulaman Gymnasium participated by 25 couples in total.
