On February 14, 2025, the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) of Surallah, in partnership with PSA South Cotabato, held a successful mobile registration drive in Barangay Dajay. This event, as part of the observance of the 35th Civil Registration Month and Valentine’s Day, provided local residents with an opportunity to register live births and sign up for the National Identification System, giving them access to crucial government services.

The event brought together the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) South Cotabato and 11 Local Civil Registry Offices (LCROs) in a show of unity and commitment to strengthening the Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) system.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Cotabato Province actively participated in the Advocacy Campaign on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) and National ID Registration conducted by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) on February 27, 2025, at Brgy. Manubuan, Matalam, Cotabato. The event gathered over a hundred Muslim Filipinos from the Municipality of Matalam, aiming to raise awareness on the significance of civil registration and the National ID System.

This initiative was conducted in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to raise awareness on various government services available to combat child labor and provide assistance to affected individuals and their families.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Cotabato Province actively participated in the Kasalan ng Bayan organized by the Municipality of Libungan, Cotabato on February 14, 2025, at the Municipal Covered Court of Libungan. This mass wedding ceremony was a heartfelt celebration of love and unity, bringing together couples as they officially tied the knot in a meaningful and joyous event.

The Philippine Statistics Authority-Cotabato Province (PSA-Cotabato) National ID team personnel proactively took part in an awareness campaign to reinforce the strict prohibition of printing the Digital National ID on Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) or plastic cards. This initiative aligns with the official public advisory released in September 2024, which emphasizes compliance with national regulations governing the proper use and handling of the Digital National ID.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Cotabato Province officially launched the 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM) with an opening ceremony on February 6, 2025, at Brookside Hotel, Kidapawan City, Cotabato. This year’s theme, “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-Fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System,” highlights the importance of an adaptive and efficient civil registration system in ensuring accurate and accessible records for all citizens.
